Jolla Tablet announced with Sailfish OS 2.0, seeks crowdfunding

Jolla recently revealed that they had something big planned this week. It turns out the company was planning their own tablet - which features a compact design, decent hardware and a reasonable price tag. It is known simply as the Jolla Tablet and runs the Sailfish operating system, which also powered the company's Jolla Smartphone, released about a year ago.

Sadly the stock only lasted a few minutes, leaving customers frustrated during the checkout process. Fortunately existing Band users will find the companion app, Microsoft Health for Windows Phone has been updated to version 1.3.1111.2 with several bug fixes and improvements.

WhatsApp for iOS has been updated to version 2.11.14 which included support for the larger screens of the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus, along with the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. WhatsApp is a popular cross-platform messaging service, which was recently purchased by Facebook.

T-Mobile announces free tablet offer, and BOGO MetroPCS smartphone deal

Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7Its the holiday season and T-Mobile is in the giving mood. The un-carrier has announced that it's going to give away free tablets and smartphones to its customers.

On November 21, existing T-Mobile customers can visit a participating stores and get the Alcatel ONETOUCH Pop 7 for $0 down and $0 payments. That means that the customer will only end up paying the sales tax on the device. The offer will be opened up to everyone on November 22.

Those with the 16GB base iPad models may usually find their tablets quickly running out of space as they install new apps. Fortunately it looks like Apple has been working on a solution for this issue within their release.

Apple iOS 8Apple has released iOS 8.2 beta 1, just a day after releasing the iOS 8.1.1 update to the public. The newest beta is clearly focused on the Apple Watch, which is set to be released in early 2015.

According to the release notes, iOS 8.2 is strictly focused towards developers so they get their apps ready for Apple Watch, so they work in their other iOS counterparts. Besides the relevant APIs for developers, the newest version of iOS doesn't seem to bring any new features for consumers.

As part of this transition, Microsoft has come to an agreement with Opera, to replace the Nokia Store on some of its Nokia devices with the Opera Mobile Store.
