Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 vs. Apple iPad 4 - Video Comparison

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is one of the best tablets in the market. So how will one of the best in the Android camp compare against the Apple iPad 4? In terms of performance and functionality the more powerful Galaxy Note 10.1 has the advantage, but its plastic build doesn't feel as premium as the iPad. While potential iPad owners should wait until Apple releases the iPad 5 later this year, Android fans wouldn't likely find a device better than the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).

We live in a post PC era which is dominated by the Apple iPad and Microsoft just recently decided to respond with their own tablet in the form of the Microsoft Surface. The Surface itself comes in two types. The Microsoft Surface Pro is a high end slate which is capable of replacing your laptop or desktop computer while the Microsoft Surface RT aims to directly take on the Apple iPad 4.

Apple officially announces 128GB Apple iPad 4

Apple has just announced that the fourth-gen iPad will now offer up to 128GB of internal storage – which is double the maximum storage currently offered on the device. Apple has sold over 120 million iPads to date and with the vast selection of apps and games available for the device, it makes sense that Apple would eventually offer a larger capacity.

The 128GB version of the iPad 4 will be available starting next Tuesday, February 5th and will come in Black and White. The Wi-Fi only version will cost $799, while the Wi-Fi + cellular version will cost $929, and both will be available through Apple’s online stores, retail stores and partners.

Apple iPad 4 with LTE now available on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon in the U.S.

The Apple iPad 4 with 4G LTE connectivity is now available for purchase in the U.S. through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. Sprint was the first to have the tablet up for offer earlier today and was quickly followed by AT&T and Verizon. If you are planning to get your iPad 4 on Verizon, you can only order the device online, and stocks are reportedly limited so hurry. AT&T has the tablet available both online and through their retail stores.

The iPad 4 is a refreshed version of the Apple iPad 3 and runs Apple iOS 6.0. The device features a 9.7 inch Retina touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for Facetime video calls, optional 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by an Apple A6X processor.

Apple iPad 4 - Video Review

The Apple iPad 4 features features a 9.7 inch Retina touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for Facetime video calls, optional 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by an Apple A6X dual-core processor.

While the device is meant to succeed the Apple iPad 3 we feel its more of a refreshed model aimed at unifying the iOS device lineup by including a Lightning docking port. Other than that it has the same design as the iPad 3 and we wouldn’t consider it outdated just yet.

Despite the lack of changes, the iPad 4 is still probably the best tablet in the market in terms of performance, design and usability and well worth the $500 baseline investment.

How to exchange your recently purchased iPad 3 with the iPad 4 for free

Apple just announced the iPad 4, and unlike with previous announcements the Apple iPad 3 has been fully replaced and taken off the shelf by the Apple iPad 4. The iPad 4 features the same physical outer appearance but includes improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, a new HD front facing camera and is powered by an Apple A6X chip which promises double the processing and graphics power.

Many users may be frustrated that their third generation iPads, which have only been around for 7 months are already obsolete. However users who purchased their iPad 3 recently may have a way of exchanging it for the iPad 4.

Apple iPad 4 officially announced

Besides announcing the smaller Apple iPad mini, Apple also announced the 4th generation iPad during the special event today in California. The Apple iPad 4 retains the same 9.7 inch Retina display along with the dimensions and weight of the Apple iPad 3 but doubles the processing and graphics power of their tablet with a new Apple A6X chipset. Apple has also introduced an HD front facing video camera to offer a richer FaceTime video calling experience.
