Nokia N900 - Running four operating systems

The Nokia N900 is an amazing device. We know it is capable of dual booting either Meego or Android alongside it's resident Maemo OS.
The device features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded with microSD, a full QWERTY keyboard and is powered by a 600 MHz processor.

But we see it's limits tested with four operating systems running on the device: Maemo, Meego, Android and Kubuntu Mobile.

Meego Developer Edition for N900

Meego has been available for the Nokia N900 for some time now, but it hasn't been a version where users can use Meego on their N900 as a primary phone.

Nokia N900 gets unofficial Android 2.3 port

The Nokia N900 is the company's current flagship which runs Maemo Linux. With a 3.5 inch display, 5 megapixel camera and 32 GB of internal storage it is almost unlimited in it's potential, with it's lack of app support from mainstream developers being it's only downfall.

The folks at NitDroid have managed to bridge this gap by bringing an unofficial version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the device, thus giving the N900 users a taste of all the Android goodies.

[Guide] How to install webOS games on Nokia N900

The Nokia N900 is the first and only device from the company to run Maemo 5. Since there aren't many devices running this OS you can understand why game developers wouldn't build games for the Maemo community. Nokia has since shifted it's focus towards Meego leaving Maemo users with very little.

At least until now. Since Maemo is a linux flavor much like WebOS which powers Palm devices, users have found a way to run unmodified Palm Games like Need for Speed Undercover and The Sims 3 on the N900.

Check the video below and follow the guide to find out how you can do it yourself:
