Asus Eee Pad Transformer receives Pre Ice Cream Sandwich update

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer has received an software update which takes the software version to 8.6.5.21 and to Android 3.2.1. This may not be the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich everyone is waiting for, but nevertheless brings some new life to the tablet.

The update is said to eliminate some bugs while enhancing some of the features of the tablet. Since it is not a major update users who have rooted their device are advised to stay clear of this update for now.

GameStop tablets are here

GameStop previously announced that they will be introducing customized tablets to their gaming console lineup and they would be testing it in 200 stores. These tablets are now available on the GameStop website.

You have three tablets to choose from and they are the Acer Iconia A100, Asus Eee Pad Transformer and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer receives Android 3.2.1 software update

Asus has announced today on their Facebook page that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer will be updated to Android 3.2.1. They have also detailed what we can expect with the latest version of Android.
 Being an incremental updated, there are no major features available but there are several bug fixes and enhancements made to the overall experience. Asus has also updated the preloaded apps with this update.

The update should be offered to your device automatically OTA, but you can also initiate it manually. A detailed list of the update's offering follows :
