HTC Flyer receives Android Honeycomb software update


The HTC Flyer is the company's first tablet which was announced in February and released in May running Android 2.2 Froyo. The device features a 7 inch touch display, up to 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.

HTC has now announced that the device will be getting Android Honeycomb 3.2

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 receives Android 3.2 software update

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 users are getting the Android 3.2 update. The update was previously pushed a couple of weeks ago but was then recalled when the update led to WiFi connectivity problems for some. The bug has been resolved and Samsung is ready to try again.

If you previously unfortunate to updated your tablet to the faulty Android 3.2 you will have to update to the new version using the Samsung Kies desktop software. If you have skipped the previous update you will be able to update to Android 3.2 Over the Air (OTA)

Motorola Xoom will receive Android 3.2 soon

The Motorola Xoom would probably be one of the first tablets to receive the Android 3.2 update according to a recent tweet from the company. The update has already begun rolling out for Wi-Fi devices and will be made available for Verizon users in the coming weeks.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer will receive Android 3.2 soon

The folks at Asus are working extremely hard to improve their top tablet, the Asus EeePad Transformer according to a tweet by Asus, Android 3.2 is being tested on the device with an imminent update.

While this version of Android has still not been officially announced it is apparently available to tablet device manufacturers.
