[Guide] How to install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on the Google Galaxy Nexus
The Google Galaxy Nexus will be one of the first handsets to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Google has promised to start rolling out the update in July.
But developers who got their hands on the official OTA update file of Android 4.1 with their new Galaxy Nexus during the Google I/O 2012 have managed to port it to the Google Galaxy Nexus (GSM).

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is set roll out in July for Nexus devices, and will hopefully be available through other manufacturers soon after. Meanwhile developers are hard at work porting Jelly Bean over to popular modern handsets, and the HTX One X is one of the devices to get a taste of things to come from Android 4.1.
The One X features a 4.7 inch 720p HD touch display, 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean appears for certain android devices
Google announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean during the first day keynote of the Google I/O. The new version brings several performance and feature improvements to Ice Cream Sandwich making it a must have update for many users.
While the update is scheduled to start to role out in July for Nexus devices, we are not sure on other manufacturer’s plans to offer Jelly Bean.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean officially announced by Google
Today Google officially announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean during the Google I/O 2012, which makes the latest android experience buttery smooth. The main element of Android 4.1 is that it is lag free, as the developers have addressed the interaction of Android with hardware through a solution called ‘Project Butter’.
