Facebook for Windows has been updated to a new version with brings several new features and improvements. The Facebook app is available for Windows 8 and Windows RT devices allowing users to stay connected to their social networks with Live Title and pop up notifications.You can download the update directly on your device through the Windows Store or by using the following link:

The Facebook for Windows update has the following new features and improvements:
- Share post through message or timeline.
- Download photos, make them as profile photo or set as lock screen options after opening picture from any post.
- Picture messages are now supported.
- Location sharing in messages.
- Share charm support to share from other Windows 8 apps to Facebook.
- Messenger only snap mode if u snap narrower than previously allowed limit.
In terms of functionality and use, we aren't very thrilled with the look of the Facebook app. It doesn't follow the Windows modern design language in anyway and features a very poor quality interface. Still it does get the job done so we must hope that Facebook will improve their interface with future updates
