[Windows app] Evernote for Windows 8 updated

The Evernote for Windows app has been updated for the Windows 8 platform and brings some new features and improvements. You can download the update directly on your device through the Windows Store.

The new version has the following changes and improvements:

  • The Ability to edit plaintext notes and append to rich-text notes
  • New Tag flyout allows you to tag notes and create new tags
  • New Notebook flyout allows you to change notebook of a note
  • Numerous stability improvement and bug fixes
Evernote will be available for the public release of Windows 8 and Windows RT as a free app through the Windows app store.
