Windows 8 pre-beta 8175 build demonstrated

Microsoft may not yet be ready with the beta build of Windows 8, but that didn't mean they had nothing to show during the CES 2012. The redmond company demonstrated one of their pre-beta builds (8175) of Windows 8 which showed they were well in track for the beta release which is expected in February.

The new build showed off features like the ability to change the Start menu colour scheme and personalization options like making the Charms bar transparent. The new build also showed off the new audio and video players which feature a Metro UI along with new gesture controls, an enhanced keyboard and mouse controls for the Metro UI.
