Nokia C6-01 receives PR 1.1 (13.0.16) software update

The Nokia C6-01 has received a software update taking the firmware to version PR 1.1 (013.016). This update brings quality and stability updates to the Nokia C6-01 along with overall enhanced user experience.

You can obtain this update using your device's OTA (Over The Air) feature of by connecting your device to Nokia Ovi Suite and downloading the update using the software updater feature.

The Nokia C6-01 features a 3.2 inch touch display, a 2GB microSD card, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 680 MHz processor with 256MB of RAM.

The update also has numerous tweaks and bug fixes, along with the following updates:

• Meeting requests can be accepted directly from email invitations;
• Maps integration in email, which means people can view the meeting location on the map when the address is mentioned in the location field in the invite.
