Upcoming Nokia N8 software updates revealed

The Nokia N8, is a smartphone designed and manufactured by Nokia and runs the Symbian mobile operating system. It has been awhile now since The PR 1.1 update for the device has been expected, and some news has been uncovered from GSM Arena, regarding the release cycle for updates for the Nokia N8.

PR 1.1 - Last week of January. Update is aimed mainly at performance and bug fixes.

PR 2.0 - February 15th, during the MWC 2011. This update is supposed to have 50+ updates.

PR 3.0 - Summer 2011, PR 3.0 is supposed to bring the Symbian^4 UI to the Nokia N8. Initially the N8 was not due to be upgraded to the next version of Symbian, but looks like this may change.
