Android One program launches in India with three new affordable phones

As you may know, Google had an event scheduled today in India, where the company unveiled their first lineup of Android One devices. The three new Android One handsets announced during the event were the Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO, and the Karbonn Sparkle V.

Amazon India tweets that they will exclusively offer the Micromax Android One device starting on September 15

Google has scheduled a press conference on September 15, in India and the company is expected to unveil its first lineup of Android One handsets for the region. We've already seen the Android One phone from Spice make a brief appearance, and now Amazon.in (the retailer's Indian branch) has tweeted about an upcoming Micromax model.

Micromax announces Canvas Win W092 and Win W121 with Windows Phone 8.1

Micromax, India's second largest smartphone manufacturer has announced their very first Windows Phone devices for the Indian market – the Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121. Both handsets run Windows Phone 8.1, which is the latest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system.
