Grand Theft Auto Series now available on Amazon Kindle Fire HDX tablets and FireTV


The Grand Theft Auto series is a popular gaming franchise and has eluded Amazon gamers until now. Rockstar has finally made the the GTA trilogy for Android available on its Kindle Fire HDX tablets. In the USA, you can also play them on a Kindle Fire TV, which would bring a much improved experience compared to how the games looked when it was launched for the PlayStation 2. As you might know, the mobile conversions received a subtle facelift in the texture and lighting departments.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 - Video Review

While the new Kindle Fire HD is more than capable of satisfying your entry into the tablet market, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX takes aim at a different breed of users. The device features a 7 inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi with optional 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.

While its specs and price are quite identical to the Google Nexus 7 2013, we have to hand it to Amazon's offering for adding the Snapdragon 800 processor, which is considered one of the most powerful (quad-core) processors in the market.

Amazon announces new Kindle Fire HDX 7 and 8.9 alongside refreshed Kindle Fire HD


Today Amazon unveiled two brand new members in their Kindle tablet family alongside a refreshed Kindle Fire HD. While the Kindle Fire HD (2013) continues affordable Amazon's trend now at a lower $139 price, the Kindle Fire HDX and the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablets enter the market as power players aiming to dominate the ecosystem.
