While its specs and price are quite identical to the Google Nexus 7 2013, we have to hand it to Amazon's offering for adding the Snapdragon 800 processor, which is considered one of the most powerful (quad-core) processors in the market.
The Kindle Fire HDX 7 like other members of the Kindle Fire family run the updated “Mojito” Fire OS 3.0 experience still doesn't have the same level of functionality or diverse apps ecosystem to match what Android has to offer.
Unfortunately this means you wont have access to the Google Play Store or the Google apps. So unless you are ties into Amazon's ecosystem, you would probably enjoy using a regular Android tablet or an iPad. But if you enjoy an Amazon Prime subscription, which access to movies, tv shows, music and purchases from Amazon, the Kindle Fire HDX 2013 may be the perfect performer for you.
