Nokia E6 - First Impressions

Its been several months since we have reviewed a Symbian device with the Nokia X7 being the last on our review table. Now once again thanks to Nokia Connects we have the Nokia E6 and like every good review we start off with our first impressions.

The First Impressions will cover a quick hands on with the device which will be followed by an in depth review at the end of our trial time with the device. Our review unit comes dressed in white and silver giving it a look of class and sophistication and has a look similar to that of the popular Nokia C7.

The Nokia E6 features a 2.6-inch touchscreen along wish a BlackBerry style QWERTY keyboard. It also has an 8MP camera with HD video, FM Radio, Wi-Fi hotspotting and 8GB of internal storage. The E6 runs Symbian Anna and comes with a full version of Quick Office which allows you to read and edit your Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

Nokia announces X7 and E6 Symbian Anna smartphones

Today Nokia announced two new Symbian devices along with their upcoming Symbian update which is code-named Anna. The two smart-phones, The Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7 are both touch enabled Symbian devices.

The E6 features a QWERTY keyboard and takes from the success of the design of the previous E-Series devices. Meanwhile the X7 features a 4 inch capacitive touch display and a sleek new design

Nokia E6 now available in the U.K.

The latest addition to the Nokia business series, the Nokia E6 is now available in the U.K. and would eventually find it's way to the rest of the world. It is available for Pay as you go at £339 and for £25/month on contract for free. You can also get just the phone for £349.
