[CONCEPT] Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung Galaxy S6

The year is coming to an end, and Samsung has already given us the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 4. Now its time to look forward toward the Galaxy S6, which Samsung is rumored to be working on under the codename "Project Zero" Here's a vision of what it may look like.

This concept of the Galaxy S6 comes to us from the folks at 91mobiles.com, who pride themselves at being the number one, gadget research website in India. They are the same team that brought us the Google Nexus 360, which we hope will become a reality someday.

Their new concept is a visualization of what the Galaxy S6 may look like, and is based on the input of the 91mobiles community. Samsung has been criticised over the years for their uninspiring design of their Galaxy smartphones, and this concept is definitely something we found interesting.

The Galaxy S6 concept comes with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It has a 7.5mm thickness and measures only 130 grams. The handset is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 5430 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and has 4GB of RAM. The handset will offer as much as 128GB of internal storage to match Apple's iPhones.

On its rear the Galaxy S6 concept will feature a 20MP ISOCELL camera with dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization and 4K video recording. A 5MP BSI camera with a wide-angle lens will sit in front capable of full HD video capture.

The conceptual Galaxy S6 will a metallic frame, with a faux-leather removable rear panel which will be available in swappable colors. A 3300mAh removable battery will be nested under the panel with fast-charging technology.
