Microsoft Surface Pro 3 now available in 25 new markets


Microsoft Surface Pro 3Microsoft announced today that its Surface Pro 3 tablets will go on sale in 25 new markets around the world starting August 28. This means that customers in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and the US will now be able to purchase Microsoft's newest tablet.

The is a Windows 8.1 tablet capable of replacing the traditional laptop. It features a 12 inch display with a 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution, up to 512GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, a full USB 3.0 port and up to the latest Core i7 processors with up to 8GB of RAM. Prices range between $799 for the entry level model with 64GB storage and a Core i3 processor, up to $1,949 for the i7 model with 512 GB of storage.

Back in July, Microsoft stated that the Surface Pro 3 was selling faster than previous Surface slates, and the company probably expects sales to see a significant bump now that it’s launching it across the globe.
