HERE Maps for Windows Phone receives updated offline map data

Nokia has released updated offline map data for HERE Maps for Windows Phone. While the changes have not been detailed, it is assumed that the update brings new routes, refreshed pedestrian paths, corrections, new POI data or fixes.

The update comes just days after Microsoft released updated offline map data for their own Maps for Windows Phone. Since Microsoft's solution is also powered by HERE, it makes sense that the official app is also updated.

If you havent downloaded HERE Maps on your Windows Phone, you can do so now through the Windows Phone Store or using the following link

You can also check out the following video which shows you how to use HERE Maps on your Lumia Windows Phone.

Nokia has done a fantastic job with HERE Maps for Windows Phone. Especially with the offline maps, which are much easier to manage and use compared to Google Maps Android. HERE Maps for Windows Phone allows you to search for places, plan route and navigate without using a mobile data connection.
