Asus Fonepad Note 6 receives Android 4.4 KitKat

The Asus FonePad Note 6 is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update alongside the Asus Padfone InfinityThe new software brings all the enhancements you would expect from KitKat along with several changes from Asus. The detailed changelog follows after the break.

The Asus FonePad Note 6 has the following new features and improvements:
  • Upgrade to Android 4.4.2 (KitKat)
  • Improve modem stability
  • Update to ZenUI
  • Remove APP locker to combine into Launcher
  • Remove Device Tracker as KK doesn't support this function
  • Remove APP backup, MyLibrary, Parental Lock, MyBit Cast & AO Link as KK doesn't support this function
  • Add Easy Mode, Music, MyASUS, Omlet Chat, PlayTo, Quick Memo, What's Next, Zen Links & Boost
  • After KitKat version firmware upgrade, ASUS will not provide service for downgrading to JB version.
