The Nokia Lumia 925 is now receiving the Windows Phone 8.1 update with Lumia Cyan alongside the Lumia 625. Nokia first released the Lumia Cyan update for the Lumia 925 as part of a pilot program in Finland and is now rolling out to other regions around the globe.
With Windows Phone 8.1 your Lumia 925 will get access to great new features like Cortana, a personal virtual assistant built to manage your life. Cortana will allow you to set reminders by people as well as by time or location. Your device will also get several other features and enhancements including the Action Center which manages your incoming notifications along with the ability to set a background wallpaper for your Live tiles. When will my device receive Windows Phone 8.1 |
The update will be pushed out OTA to handsets running Windows Phone 8.0, and you should receive an OTA notification when it is available on your device. Once you receive the update notification, make sure that your battery is fully charged and that you are connected to Wi-Fi before installing the update. If you have not received an update notification you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates.
