The Samsung Galaxy Star 2 is yet another device announced by the company today, which the manufacturer promises will be "stylish and portable". The Galaxy Star 2 is an entry-level, budget-friendly device and is perfect for single handed use.
The Galaxy Star 2 is the successor to last year's Samsung Galaxy Star and brings some useful upgrades to make it more relevant this year. Its specs include a 3.5 inch touch display, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 2 megapixel rear camera with no flash, option dual SIM, a 1300 mAh battery and a 1GHz single-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
In terms of design, Samsung has treated the device to a finish that closely resembles the faux leather found on the Galaxy Note 3, and you get all the usual buttons and ports, including a physical Home button and capacitive buttons for the Back function and for displaying the recent apps.
The Galaxy Star 2 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat, which has been coated with Samsung Touchwiz custom UI. The manufacturer has included 8 downloadable games by Gameloft for added value to the customer.
