Verizon has rebranded the LG L70 as the LG Optimus Exceed 2 for their network. The phone is available to Verizon's prepaid customers for $59.99 without the requirement of signing a contract. The device features a 4.5 inch touch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 4GB of native storage which can be expanded by an additional 32GB through microSD, a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 0.3 megapixel front camera, a 2100 mAh battery and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The handset comes with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box and includes LG's custom interface with brings the following features:
- Knock Code - customize a 2-8 point tapping pattern to wake and unlock the phone
- KnockON - double tap the screen to put your phone to sleep/wake it
- QSlide Function - overlay up to 2 windows with adjustable sizing/transparency on the primary screen
- QuickMemo - create and share personalized memos by taking screen shots and adding drawings or messages
- Guest Mode - create a separate unlock screen pattern for guests with preset access and restrictions
- Quiet Mode - specify times to disable notifications for calls and messages
- Privacy Keeper - hide caller information for incoming calls; swipe screen to reveal information
- Multilanguage Support for Phone and Keyboard Input
- Up to Seven Customizable Home Screens – add shortcuts to apps, favorites, and widgets
