Samsung confirms three Galaxy Tab 4 models

SamsungSamsung was expected to unveil its Galaxy Tab 4 series at MWC 2014, but that did not happen. The only new Android device announced by Samsung at MWC was the Galaxy S5 smartphone. The South Korean company also unveiled the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, and Gear Fit. So is the Galaxy Tab 4 Series coming anytime soon? Maybe, as Samsung has confirmed the new family of tablets in an image that lists some devices which are compatible with the Gear Fit smart band.

According to the image, which was obtained by French website Planete Galaxy, Samsung is readying a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, a Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 - just like previously rumored. Unfortunately, the new tablets haven't been pictured yet.

The Galaxy Tab 4 line shouldn't be as expensive as the Galaxy TabPRO series. The common features of the Tab 4 7.0, Tab 4 8.0 and Tab 4 10.1 are expected to be quad-core Snapdragon 400 processors and displays with 800 x 1280 pixels, meaning that they will cater to an entry level tablet market. All three are also expected to feature Android 4.4 KitKat.

Hopefully, it wont be long before we get to experience the newest series of Galaxy Tabs from Samsung.
