Oppo Find 7 officially unveiled with a 2K display

Oppo has officially unveiled the Oppo Find 7 which features a 5.5 inch touch display with a 1400 by 2560 pixel resolution which results in a  staggering 538ppi pixel density. The device also has a 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD by an additional 128GB and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM.

The Oppo Find 7 has a 13MP rear camera features a IMX214 Sony Sensor with dual LED flash and an aperture of f/2.0 to help capture shots taken in low lighting. There is support for 4K video capture and playback. The rear snapper includes the Pure Image 2.0 feature set that comes with a 50MP Super Zoom software enhancement suite. This allows for ten photos to be consolidated into one 50MP image. The front-facing camera weighs in at 5MP.

Additionally, there is a 3000mAh battery that keeps the device powered on, which can be charged up from 0% to 75% in just 30 minutes. On the software side you get  installed out of the box.



Oppo has introduced the Oppo Find 7a, which is a more affordable variant with a 5.5 inch screen offering 1080 x 1920 resolution for a pixel density of 403ppi. The CPU in this unit is a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 and there is 2GB of RAM on board. The battery has a slightly lower capacity of 2800mAh.

The Oppo Find 7a will be released on March 20 for 2998 Yuan ($484 USD) while the Oppo Find 7 will be priced at 3998 Yuan ($564 USD). Availability for the Find 7 has not yet been announced.
