Nokia X receives 1 million pre-orders in China in four days

Nokia XAfter just four days of pre-orders in China, the Android powered has rung-up more than 1 million in pre-orders. Many smartphone buyers have been waiting for a Nokia built, Android powered phone, even though it runs a forked version of Android OS. This means you wont have access to Google services and applications on your Nokia X. Instead the device will feature Microsoft and Nokia services like HERE Maps, Nokia Music, Outlook, Skype and 10GB of cloud storage free from from Microsoft's OneDrive offered through a Nokia curated store.

The Nokia X is an entry level smartphone, featuring a  4 inch LCD display with 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 3MP rear camera without autofocus or flash, a 1500 mAh battery and a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM.

Nokia X totals 1 million pre-orders in China

Nokia has to be happy with the report as it certainly seems to justify the decision to go ahead with an Android flavored phone. We cant help but wonder if a premium Android smartphone from Nokia will garner the same demand as the affordable Nokia X.
