Pinterest for Android and Pinterest for iOS have been updated some features, which are already available on its web version. Pinterest is a social network which allows you to "discover new things and collect stuff you love".
You can download the updates directly on your device through its respective app stores by using the following links:
After the update, both mobile version of Pinterest offer support for GIF files. This feature was implemented into the web version back in January. Just like web users, Pinterest enthusiasts that use a mobile device can pause and play the GIFs within the pinboards.
Additionally the overall Pinterest interface has been updated, offering a much flatter, cleaner design similar to its web version.
Pinterest for iPad received the most from this update, now including Place Pins – a rather fresh geo-location feature, which allows users to pin the stuff they find interesting to an interactive map. As strange as it may seem, the Place Pins tool was not available on the iPad up until now - only Android and iPhone users could interact with the map pins.
