Motorola Moto X for US Cellular receives Android 4.4.2 update
The Motorola Moto X on US Cellular is now receiving the Android 4.4.2 software update. The update is being pushed OTA (over-the-air) and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. Keep in mind that it is somewhat large at 150MB, so connecting to your Wi-Fi is advised if you want to save on your data plan.
The Moto X on T-Mobile was the first to receive the 4.4.2 update last Monday, now followed by US Cellular. While Verizon was the first to originally release Android 4.4 KitKat for its Moto X, it looks like the smaller carriers are faster at approving the update this time around.
The update includes the Cloud Print functionality for various apps, improved battery life, and better Microsoft Exchange syncing. So, if keep an eye out if you have a Moto X, because it seems very likely that the 4.4.2 update is making its way around soon.
