[Windows Phone app] Instagram (beta) updated with performance improvements and UX refinements


Instagram for Windows Phone Instagram for Windows Phone (beta) has been updated to version 0.3.0.0 which brings performance improvements, crash fixes and UX refinements to the application. The official Instagram for Windows Phone gives users the ability to customize your photos with one of several custom built filter effects.

Press the Search searchbutton on your Windows Phone, tap Vision vision and then scan the following barcode by pointing your device camera toward it


This update follows the December (version 0.2)  update, which brought photo tagging support along with UI improvements and bug fixes.

This latest release brings a following tab in the News Feed section of the app, also search box from the Explore section of the app is now removed, which gives a little more room to show the featured thumbnail photos. Overall app performance, like: start-up time and loading of new content, has been improved.
