Mobile gaming may still be behind console gaming, but Sony is planning to bridge that gap with their PlayStation Now service. With Sony's PlayStation Now, your games will run on Sony's servers and be streamed to your mobile devices like video. The service will provide access to Sony's library of PS3 and PS2 games to not only smartphone and tablet users, but also to owners of the PS3, PS4, the PS VITA, and even to some TVs.
Obviously this service will require a decent internet connection if you want to enjoy the graphics intensive content. The service will enter its beta testing phase later this month and if all goes well, we'll be enjoying some cloud-based gaming goodness some time this summer.
