Xbox Music for Android has been updated to version 2.0, bringing users the ability to make their playlists available for offline listening. The update is already on Xbox for iOS, and its good to see Microsoft didn't take too long to bring it to Android.
You can download the update directly on your Android device through the Google Play Store or by using the following link:
Aside from the ability to download playlists for offline listening, the update’s change-log also mentions that you can now play all of your collection by genre. While not specifically mentioned, we also imagine that the update likely brings some minor bug fixes.
The new update certainly isn't a massive one and will likely not be enough to tempt new users over to their service, but for those that are curious to see whether or not the grass is greener on the other side, it’s worth noting that Microsoft does offer a free 30-day trial of their music service for first time users.
