Android 4.4 update delayed by two weeks for HTC One in the U.S.

HTCBack in November, HTC president Jason Mackenzie made a commitment to bring the Android 4.4 KitKat update to their HTC One flagship smartphone within 90 days. That meant that the devices would all be running KitKat no later than January 31st. But a letter posted today on HTC's website by the executive, states that HTC will "miss the self-imposed deadline."

The message states that Android 4.4 will be arriving one to two weeks late for HTC One. Mackenzie goes on to say, "The good news is that we won’t miss by much, as it should't be more than one to two weeks to complete each of the carrier versions of the HTC One." Despite a couple of issues, we have to say HTC has been good with their promises.
