Microsoft Bing Rewards now available for iOS and Android

Today Microsoft announced that they have launched Bing Rewards for mobile. The rewards program can be accessed through your mobile browser on iOS and Android, however it will not be available to Windows Phone users. Windows Phone users may know that the Bing search is closely tied into the Bing app, and its likely Bing Rewards will be released as an updated to the Bing app for Windows Phone in future.

Bing Rewards is a form of online currency and is earned by using Microsoft's Bing Search as your search engine you earn credits. These credits can be redeemed for various gift card (Amazon, Xbox, Skype and more), redeemed for drawings or donated to a local school or charity of your choice.

According to Microsoft, almost all of the features available with Bing Rewards on PCs will make their way to the mobile version over the next few months.

At the moment, Bing Rewards is available only in select markets (including, of course, the US). To start using it point your mobile browser to Bing Rewards on your Android device, iPhone or iPad, and sign in using your Microsoft or Facebook account).
