Sony Mobile has scheduled an even on November 12, in Shanghai China, where the company promises that we will "Be Moved". Unfortunately there is no more information on what we should expect at the event and they have left that open for speculation.Rumors suggest that Sony will use this event to unveil the Xperia Z1S, a smaller but as powerful variant of the Sony Xperia Z1. Other devices which may be unveiled during the event include the mysterious Sony Xperia Tianchi, a 6-inch smartphone with a 720p HD display and the first octa-core MediaTek system chip. The Tianchi would be an affordable device aimed at emerging markets and a likely contender to the recently announced Nokia Lumia 1320.
The Sony Xperia Z1S, like most mini variants of flagship handsets is expected to come with a compact 4.3 inch display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution. Instead of being a watered down version of the device, the Z1S is expected to bring the full power of its larger sibling with a 20 megapixel camera and a Snapdragon 800 CPU, with its smaller screen size merely meant to make it more pocketable.
