Motorola Moto X costs just $299 off contract on Republic Wireless

The Motorola Moto X is a decent device, but users were disappointed when the company gave it a premium price tag to go with its less than premium specifications. However Republic Wireless has a great offer for those who want to get the Moto X at a more reasonable price. The carrier is offering the handset at just $299 off contract, which is by far the best deal you will find for the device.

Keep in mind though that Republic Wireless is an MVNO on the Sprint network, and you device is locked on Republic Wireless without a SIM card. So even though you have an off contract device, you won't be able to switch to another carrier.

The Moto X features a 4.7 inch touch display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 10 megapixel camera with Clear Pixel technology, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a Motorola X8 multi-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The Moto X will be available on Republic Wireless starting in November. The carrier famously offers an unlimited everything plan (on Sprint's CDMA network) for $19, or you can get access to Sprint's LTE network for $19 per month.

If you want something cheaper, you could also consider the Motorola DEFY XT by following the source link, which is priced at only $199 off-contract.
