Sprint has announced in a press release that they will be taking pre-orders for the LG G2 starting next month. Pre-orders for the LG G2 will begin on October 11, when interested customers will be able to get their hands on the new device for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Those customers who pre-order the device will get a free Quick Window case, which generally carries a $49.99 retail price.
While Sprint hasn't revealed when the device will ship out to users, it is expected to arrive later this year "in time for the holidays".
The LG G2 is the success to the LG Optimus G1 and the newest flagship from the South Korea based company. The device features a 5.2 inch full HD touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, a 3000mAh battery and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM. The G2 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2) with several software customizations from LG which give you a unique experience.
Given that T-Mobile has also announced availability of the LG G2 you now have a choice between two of the nations largest carriers if you have your eyes set on a new G2 smartphone.
