The Nokia Lumia 625 is Nokia's 'BIG' announcement
It turns out that Nokia's 'BIG' announcement was nothing other than the Nokia Lumia 625 which has been making its round in the rumor mills over the last few days. Its biggest feature is its 4.7 inch touch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution and features like direct sunlight legibility and the the super-sensitive touch technology for operation with gloves or nails
You also have 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megaixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
Nokia has also includes a range of integrated camera applications found on the recently announced Nokia Lumia 1020 like Nokia Smart Camera, offering handy features like removing unwanted objects from pictures, and Nokia Cinemagraph, which lets you bring your photos to life with animations. You will also get the Nokia HERE navigation suite and the Nokia Music service.
The Lumia 625 continues Nokia's trend of bright colors with exchangeable layered polycarbonate shells which go with your preferred Windows Phone 8 personalization. The device will be available in a range of colors including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black.
The Nokia Lumia 625 will begin selling in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3 2013 and will cost around 220 Euros (290 USD). There is no news of U.S. availability at this time.
