Samsung ATIV Q - Video Review

The Samsung ATIV Q brings the best of Windows and Android in one powerful device. Its 13.3 inch display features a record breaking 3200 x 1800 pixels resolution and moves along its innovative mechanism to transform the device between a notebook and tablet.

Its high resolution screen is even higher than what Apple offers on the Macbook Pro 13 with Retina, making the ATIV Q a great competitor for the Macbooks and even ready to take on the best iPad.

By offering the best of two worlds in a great form factor the ATIV Q will be warmly welcome by a decent number of fans in the months ahead.

To prove the durability of the ATIV Q hinge, Samsung has placed the processor within the hinge itself. This actually turns out to work ideally with its cooling mechanism. Unfortunately the USB and HDMI ports are also stored in the hinge and are inaccessible while in tablet mode.

Another issue with this premium device is the lack of a backlit keyboard, which can hinder the productivity on such a portable device in a low light setting.

Samsung has also included the SPen stylus which made its successful debut on the Galaxy Note series. The stylus allows you to take notes on S Note or doodle on Microsoft Paint.

Unfortunately the video doesn't demonstrate the tablet switching between Windows and Android, but the reviewer assures us that it can easily handle any Android application.
