The Nokia Asha 501 runs Nokia's new Asha platform with a Swipe UI and a new home screen called "Fastlane" which gives users instant access to recently accessed contacts, social networks and apps. The device features a 3.0 inch capacitive touch display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 128MB of internal storage, a 4GB microSD card and a 3.2 megapixel camera capable of video capture. The handset is capable of lasting 48 days on standby and 17 hours of talk time.
