Microsoft's Joe Belfiore who is known well in the Windows Phone world, has recently uploaded some photos from a recent trip on Flicker which have been captured by a device which has recently been circulating in the news - the Nokia Lumia 1020.
The Lumia 1020 is name which has been associated with the upcoming Nokia EOS which is expected to feature a massive 41 megapixel camera, similar to the one Nokia debuted on the symbian running Nokia 808 PureView.
The handset has been given several names recently including the Nokia Elvis and the Nokia Lumia 909. But this is the first official indicator that the handset may be released with the Lumia 1020 mantel. The Nokia EOS or Lumia 1020 is expected to feature PureView phase 1, which is slightly different from the technology on the Nokia Lumia 920. Instead of Optical Image Stabilization, this device will feature a huge 41 megapixel camera sensor with lossless zooming capabilities, which should result in amazing photos like the ones before.
Keep in mind that these are from a pre-final version of the Nokia Lumia 1020 so we can only expect the quality to improve on the final device. The Lumia 1020 (EOS) is expected to be unveiled at during a special event on July 11th in New York, so stay tuned for our live coverage.
