The Nokia EOS may be arriving very soon as we have started to see several leaks of the upcoming PureView device. The Nokia EOS is the Windows Phone variant of the Nokia 808 PureView which ran Symbian OS. The device is said to be undergoing testing under the codename Elvis for the AT&T network.
Now some clear photos of the Nokia EOS have emerged showing the various views of this camera centric smartphone. The clarity of the images all but confirm that the device is definitely very real and maybe close to launch.
Nokia's recent flagship smartphones have shown that they are very capable low light contenders and the EOS will definitely take this to the next level. However the Phase 1 of PureView which is expected to be used on the EOS makes uses of pixel oversampling and we likely won't have the optical image stabilization (OIS) which was introduced on the Nokia Lumia 920.
Nokia's venture to provide superior low light camera phones has not gone unnoticed and companies like HTC and Samsung have also started investing in bringing their own handsets to the market. With rumors suggesting that we may get to see this handset as early as July 9th, we may have this device in our hands very soon.
