Nokia Asha 311 receives (7.36) software update

The Nokia Asha 311 is now receiving a new v7.36 software update. The new firmware is reported to bring general performance improvements and usability improvements to the device. The Asha 311 is a feature phone which has a 3 inch touch display, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD storage and is powered by a 1GHz processor.

You can get the update to your device type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Keep in mind that the update is region specific, so it maybe awhile before it arrives for your device. If you dont already have it it should arrive very soon.

You can also download the update to your device by connecting it to the Nokia Suite. Users are recommended to backup their data before installing this or any software updates. Nokia has not released an official changelog with the update, but we will let you know if we get more information.
