Nokia Lumia 928 officially announced

The Nokia Lumia 928 is now official, giving Verizon customers a chance to enjoy the luxuries of the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 which has remained an exclusive to AT&T until now. The Lumia 928 features features a 4.5 inch display, 32GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel PureView camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 1.2 megapixel camera for HD Skype video calls, NFC and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

Additionally it features a Xenon flash which should offer an even better low light photo experience than its AT&T counterpart, while offering the same blur free high quality pictures. Other features like the super-sensitive display which allows operating with gloves and built in wireless charging are part of the mix. Nokia also includes three high performance microphones with the Lumia 928 which captures up to 140db of sound without distortion.

The Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon will arrive at the carrier's stores and online starting May 16th and will cost only $99.99 with a two year contract. Additionally you will get $25 of Windows Phone Store credit to spend on your favorite apps and games.

Have you waited patiently for the Nokia flagship on Verizon? Or are you a Lumia 920 customer who wishes Nokia had given some Xenon flash love to your device? Share your thoughts below
