Nokia Place Tag and Nokia Glam Me lenses demonstrated

Nokia LogoLenses were introduced in Windows Phone 8, which allows third party lenses to be built as plugins to be used with the device camera. Nokia has taken full advantages of this feature and release several lenses including Smart Shoot, Cinemagraph and Panorama. Now they are getting ready to release two new lenses - Nokia Place Tag and Nokia Glam Me.

Place Tag combines Nokia’s capabilities in location and imaging and allows you to add location stamps to photos with relevant information about pictures of places. When you capture a photo which has its geo location tagged to it using the GPS, you can share it with you friends like a Digital Photo postcard.

Meanwhile Glam Me is a digital lens which allows you to take self portraits and include various effects to it.

Nokia hasn't revealed an exact date for the release of these new digital lenses but have stated that they will be coming soon to Lumia smartphones.
