Motorola Droid Bionic will receive Android 4.1 software update in Q2

All eyes were on the Motorola Droid Bionic back at CES 2011 where it was first introduced. Then Motorola would replace the device they revealed with a model with a better form factor which was later launched on September 8th of that year.
Sadly the Droid Bionic would later fade into oblivion making room for the Motorola Droid RAZR and the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX with its ample 3300mAh battery. However it looks like the Droid Bionic will be getting some new life in the form of  which will arrive for the device during the second quarter of 2013.
The Droid Bionic features a 4.3-inch display, 16GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera capable of capturing HD video at 720p, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM.

Now much like the Motorola Droid 4 users, the Droid Bionic users can enjoy all the features and improvements of Android 4.1, including the performance improvements of project butter, the digital assistance of Google Now and the actionable notifications.

Now all that remains to be updated to Android 4.1 is the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE for Sprint.
