The Nokia Lumia 520 is the most affordable Windows Phone 8 handset from Nokia to-date but offers features you would generally see in mid-range handsets. The device features a 4.0 inch super sensitive touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM.
The Lumia 520 offers a 1430 mAh battery which offers 9 hours of usage in 3G mode and 6 hours of Wi-Fi browsing. Its interchangeable covers give it an added allure to a younger audience while its f/2.4 aperture offers good low light photos which seems to be something Nokia is interested in offering with their handsets.
The handset is expected to arrive in Hong Kong and Vietnam during the first quarter of this year, while China, India, Europe, Latina and Africa will receive the handset in the second quarter. Nokia has secured a deal with T-Mobile to offer the device for EUR 139 before tax, while the handset should be available for FREE if your willing to sign a two-year contract.
