Google releases wireless charging orb for the Nexus 4, costs $60

The wireless charging orb for the Google Nexus 4 has finally been released on the Google Play Store and can be purchased for $59.99. The device is set to ship in one week, but it would be a great idea to grab the units quickly knowing how quickly Nexus 4 units sell out on the Play Store.



The Nexus charging orb is based on the Qi inductive charging standard which allows your device to be powered without the need of wires. All you need to do is place your Nexus 4 on the orb and it recharges.

The orb release comes in time of LG and Google finally working out the supply issues with the Nexus 4. Even though the device is widely available the shipping times are at a couple of weeks, but this should get better over time.
