Asus PadFone 2 - Video Review

The Asus PadFone 2 is an impressive device as an independent smartphone. It features a 4.7 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls, a 2140 mAh battery which offers 16 hours of battery life and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Even with its impressive hardware the PadFone 2 is one of the lightest smartphones in its class and combined with its tablet or keyboard accessories its functionalities becomes limitless.

The added benefit of pairing the device with its tablet accessory to increase its screen size and battery life makes the device both unique and sort after. However its $800 contract free price may be less than appealing to most users. You have to keep in mind however that by combining both the tablet and phone experience into one you will save on the cost of purchasing two separate devices and have the ability to share your data connection instead of having to get separate connections for a tablet and a smartphone.

The Asus PadFone 2 is a definitely welcome upgrade over the original Asus PadFone, both in features and design. You can learn more about this device and read the detailed review by heading over to PhoneArena.
