Nokia Drive+ has been updated to version 2.1.0.1483 and is now available for all Windows Phone 8 devices. This means that it is no longer limited to Nokia Lumia devices and can be downloaded on any HTC or Samsung Windows Phone 8 device. Windows Phone 8 users will have access to the free turn-by-turn navigation and offline maps. The application is now available to users in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

The app has been in beta for some time while Nokia polishes things up, despite that, it is one of the best turn-by-turn navigation applications available, on any platform. Nokia Drive+ has been part of the “Nokia Collection,” exclusive to the Finnish manufacturer’s hardware.
Nokia’s Mapping services are powered by the company’s own NAVTEQ and Nokia Drive+ has become the first to make it way to all Windows Phone devices. This being a result of the technology sharing agreement between Nokia and Microsoft.
