Google Nexus 4 ships in Brazil with Android 4.2.2

Google recently removed the Android 4.2.1 image from their servers, which indicated that they had something new coming. Now a Google Nexus 4 has emerged in Brazil running a brand new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Not much is known about the 4.2.2 update or even if the leaked photo is legitimate. It turns out that the Nexus 4 is apparently starting to get produced in LG’s factory in Taubaté, Brazil before it heads to carriers later in the month and the first batch of one thousand are reportedly being loaded with Android 4.2.2 out of the box.

It is unlikely that this update will offer too much, considering that it will be a minor update. However we are excited to see what new features the Nexus 4 will offer when when the update is finally released to it along with the other Nexus family.

The Nexus 4 features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. As the current flagship smartphone of the Nexus family it will be among the first to get access to the latest Android updates from Google.

If you own one of the Nexus devices, you know you wont have to wait too long to get a sample of the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean treat.
