Last night the listing of the Google Nexus 4 was changed to “Temporarily out of stock” from the “Sold out” state is has been. Earlier today we head that the Nexus 4 will be available through the Play Store around noon and the device is now available in the Store. The only catch is that you have to wait 1 to 2 weeks for the device to ship.
This isn't actually too bad, since the device even had up to 9 week delays in the past. But there is no indication on how long the stock will last, so its important to get your hands on the units while stocks last.
You will be getting one of the best devices in the market with the Nexus 4 which made our top 5 list of smartphones of 2012. The device features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Additionally as a Nexus device is runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will be among the first to receive the latest versions of Android.
As you may know the Nexus 4 has a glass front and rear which can break if the device is dropped. You can choose to protect these panels by purchasing a Nexus 4 bumper, which is also available on the Play Store. It will also take 1 to 2 weeks to ship, but is somewhat overpriced at $19.99 which is a shame.
